Trade Minister Alaa al-Jubouri confirmed today, Saturday, that the government is serious about stabilizing the ration card file during the coming period, while it announced its intention to distribute two rations during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency, "The ministry has received sums of money to distribute the Ramadan quota, which we are about to finish 80% of it, and will be distributed this week," indicating that "there is a directive in the cabinet to distribute another additional share, so two shares will be distributed in the month of Ramadan."
