    {Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Trade confirmed today, Saturday, its continued efforts to distribute the ration card items to citizens during the days of imposing a curfew imposed by the crisis cell to confront the Corona virus.
    The ministry said in a statement that came in response to the proposals of a group of deputies calling for the distribution of the ration card items to citizens, {Al Furat News} received a copy of it, as it said, “The ministry’s staff continue to distribute the third meal of flour to citizens within the schedule previously decided upon by it And what was mentioned by the deputies needs to be accurate. "
    The ministry called on the deputies to "follow up on the efforts of the ministry and its owners who continue to distribute the ration card items during the days of the ban and did not spare any effort to secure food security for the citizen."
    She indicated, "Distributing additional items to citizens requires financial allocations to contract with companies and international origins to provide us with materials."
    The ministry pointed out that "its minister, Dr. Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani, had previously called for increasing allocations of food ration card items, especially as it provides food security for large segments of citizens and covered by social welfare, but has not been increased."
    The ministry stressed "the necessity of having sufficient financial allocations to provide a strategic storage sufficient for three months, especially as the law of the ministry affirms the ministry's role in providing strategic storage for emergency situations."
    She said, " The failure to approve the general budget of the current impact on the ministry 's plans to increase the ration card items and ask the MPs to vote on increasing budget allocations, in order to be able to distribute additional vocabulary" .anthy
