    Trade intends to issue ration card "smart"

    The Minister of Commerce, Mohammad Hashim al-Ani, said Saturday that the ministry intends to issue a smart ration card, which depends on the fingerprint to ensure the arrival of ration items to the beneficiaries.
    Al-Ani said in a statement to the official newspaper "Al-Sabah" that "since we received the ministry to develop a large and clear plan for all provinces, we follow the ration card items since arrival at our ports in Umm Qasr and to the stage of distribution among citizens and entered into all details."
    "The Ministry of Commerce keen to provide the best food in the ration card items and ensure access to beneficiaries."

    Trade issues new instructions on the ration card

    Ministry of Commerce announced a program to check the ration card information to reduce increases and repetition by raising phantom names or death and verification through several mechanisms coordinated with the Ministry of Interior to match with the unified card information.
    "A technical team from the Department of Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry of Commerce, headed by the Director General of the Department visited the headquarters of the National Card Department at the Ministry of Interior to discuss ways of cooperation between them according to available data." 
    The Director General of the Department, Ibthal Hashim, said that she visited the Directorate of the National Card with a specialized technical team and met with General Nashat Ibrahim Shalal, Director General of the Department and the technical teams of the two parties to discuss ways of cooperation by boycotting the data for individuals and families who obtained the national card in order to limit the real numbers of registered individuals within Ration card system in order to write off the deceased and passengers in accordance with the regulations and instructions in force in the Ministry of Commerce to focus those words to those who really deserve and cut the way for manipulators citizen strength.
    She added that "Major General Manager of the National Card showed full readiness with the Ministry of Commerce all the information required by the legal framework after providing a detailed explanation of all the provinces where the opening of the national card outlets to the districts and subdivisions so that our branches know this to follow up and know the individuals actually registered as promised from His part in the next few months that his directorate is determined to develop a verification device provided by the departments and departments that need to verify the national card. 
    Hashim pointed out that "the directives of the Minister of Commerce confirm the guidance of food items to the beneficiaries and stop cases of manipulation and theft of people's strength as well as careful follow-up of the work of agents and identify the faults and weaknesses in order to address."
