The president of Kurdistan called on Sunday to open a new page with a common view of the future to solve problems and take advantage of the experiences and mistakes of the past.
Barzani, on the second day of his visit to Baghdad, met with Iraqi leaders and political forces, including The Head of the Al-Hikma Movement Ammar al-Hakim, The Head of the Salvation and Development Front Osama al-Nujaifi, Secretary General of the Iraqi National Project Jamal al-Dhari, Head of the Coalition of the State of Law Nouri al-Maliki, Fatah Alliance President Hadi al-Ameri, President of the Victory Alliance Haider al-Abadi, Head of the Sadrist Movement's Political Body Nassar al-Rubaie and members of the Commission, the regional presidency said in a statement.
He pointed out that the meetings witnessed the discussion of the Iraqi political, economic and security conditions, various challenges to the country, relations between Erbil and Baghdad and dialogues between them to solve the outstanding problems and the dangers of terrorism and the threats of ISIS and relations between Iraq and the countries of the region and the world and the upcoming Iraqi elections and the situation in the region in general, extensively and openly.
"We are all in Iraq who have made mistakes, and we must open a new page and a new common vision for the future to solve the problems and take advantage of the experience and mistakes of the past," the statement said.
Barzani stressed that the stability and progress of Iraq and its return to its normal status are linked to solving internal problems and solving the problems of the region with the federal government is the key to stability and the best future for all Of Iraq, and the more Iraq's problems are solved, the stronger it becomes, and for this purpose there will be continuous meetings and relations between the Iraqi parties, the statement said, adding that his visit to Baghdad came on this basis and wants to have direct contacts with all parties and to continue meetings and meetings in Baghdad and Erbil.
