    ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, said that the time has come to formulate a common vision for the Iraqi parties to improve the living conditions of the citizens of Iraq in general.
    This came, on Wednesday, during Nechirvan Barzani's reception of the British ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hickey, and the diplomatic and military delegations accompanying him.
    During the meeting, the issue of the resurgence of ISIS and its threat to stability in Iraq was discussed. Nechirvan Barzani praised the role of the international coalition in support of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region in combating terrorism, stressing the importance of ensuring the final elimination of ISIS and the need for coordination and cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad and the coalition.
    The region's president stressed that the time has come after all these years to formulate a common vision for the Iraqi parties to improve the living conditions of the citizens of Iraq in general, and for the Iraqi parties to make their preparations in order to achieve this.
    In another aspect of the meeting, the guest delegation expressed its concern about the attacks that targeted the Kurdistan Region, especially the city of Erbil, and strongly condemned it. The delegation also stressed that these actions will affect the stability of Iraq in general.
    In the meeting, they discussed the relations of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with Britain, and Nechirvan Barzani's recent visit to Baghdad, and the Erbil-Baghdad relations and their developments were discussed, and the meeting highly evaluated the ratification of the Iraqi general budget law and the agreement on the issue of the Federal Court.
    The efforts of the Kurdistan Region Presidency to unify the ranks of the political parties, the upcoming Iraqi elections, the role of the international community in solving the problems of Iraq, strengthening state institutions and benefiting from international support, the economic situation of Iraq, the effects of Corona and the conditions of the displaced and refugees, were other axes of the meeting.
