Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed that the government dealt wisely with the latest last week, indicating that there were those who tried to drag the government into the unknown.
Al-Kazemi said during the cabinet session, according to a statement by his office, that "a difficult year has passed for the government's life, which was punctuated by many challenges, we were able to cross some of them and we are working hard to overcome other challenges."
"The past week has seen events that have been handled wisely," he said. There were those who tried to drag us into the unknown, but we proceeded from the principle of preserving the supreme interest of the country, and concern for all our people. We established the logic of the state and the mechanisms of law enforcement according to the constitutional foundations.
And he indicated that "the ministries should follow up the implementation of the decisions and directives that they issue, monitor those who obstruct those decisions, and go to the departments to follow up on their work."
He added, "We must work with all seriousness to overcome obstacles to projects and to constantly search for solutions in order to establish a correct situation for the country," stressing that "this government possessed the will to take decisions and possessed the courage and the will to reform and combat corruption, despite the lack of political support for it and also the lack of The effective tools in the ministries that there must be work to develop.”
