    Baghdad today - Baghdad
A member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Saud Al-Saadi, said today, Thursday, that the follow-up file for those involved in corruption files in the previous government is ongoing so far, without excluding any party.
Al-Saadi told (Baghdad Today) that "there is intense and continuous follow-up to pursue those involved in corruption files in the government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in cooperation with the judicial authority and the Integrity and Financial Control Commission."
Al-Saadi pointed out that, "Unfortunately, during the previous years, we witnessed the raising of anti-corruption slogans, but the reality simulates otherwise, and that these issues are important and great, but there are some parties trying to exploit this situation in the media and politically, and that these parties are trying to spread the spirit of citizens' lack of confidence in the Iraqi government."
