[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / - Head of the Center for Political Thinking, Ihsan Al-Shammari, confirmed that what happened in Afghanistan of security collapse will not be repeated in Iraq, for several reasons.

Al-Shammari said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency ( NINA ): "There is no possibility of repeating the Afghan scenario in Iraq, because there is a big difference in the nature of Afghanistan in all aspects, and there is no ideological and cohesive movement similar to the Taliban movement in Iraq."

He added: "The Iraqi components are compatible, and the political and social system is built on the basis of the components, so there is no government in Iraq rejected by a particular component."

He explained: "The other thing is that Iraq was subjected to an event similar to what happened in Afghanistan in 2014, but there were internal equations that prompted the end of this scenario, and therefore Iraq preceded Afghanistan in this issue."

Al-Shammari indicated: "The American withdrawal from Afghanistan was agreed upon at the time of former President Trump, but there is no American agreement to withdraw from Iraq, and there is also a re-characterization of the American combat forces present in Iraq, given that Iraq represents an importance and priority, but not in an advanced manner." .

He stressed: "The Iraqi armed forces have regained confidence in themselves after the setback of June 2014, and therefore the Iraqi armed forces have the ability to confront terrorist and armed groups even if the US forces withdrew from Iraq, as well as the Iraqi people's non-acceptance of religious, sectarian and sectarian extremism."

He pointed out: "The Afghan scenario can be in one joint in Iraq, which is the flight of the political class, and it can happen through an internal movement or a popular revolution, that overthrows this class if it does not work to reform the situation, and this is very possible."/ Ended 9[/rtl]
