The Independent High Electoral Commission announced, on Wednesday, the date for resolving the process of counting, manual counting, and final approval of the election results.
The director of media and mass communication at the commission, Hassan Salman Al-Abousi, said in a press conference, which was followed by "Mawazine News", that "140 stations will be manually checked."
He added, "The commission will start today the manual counting and sorting of the Karkh and Rusafa stations."
Al-Abousi added, "The manual counting and sorting process will be resolved within a week, after which the final election results will be approved."
He stressed: "We will not conduct manual counting and sorting for all stations, and they will be dealt with according to complaints." Ended 29/A 43
