The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed, on Wednesday, that tomorrow the end of manual counting and sorting operations, while setting the date for announcing the final results and the names of the winners of Parliament seats.
A member of the media team in the commission, Imad Jamil, told the official news agency, "The judiciary has completed its decisions received by the commission regarding the investigation of its 870 stations," noting that "the commission has completed the 389 special stations in Dhi Qar, and from It is hoped that the remaining four provinces will be completed: Baghdad, Muthanna, Najaf and Nineveh.
He added, "Tomorrow, Thursday, is the end of the counting and sorting operations, and then qualification for the final counting and sorting operations, and the results will be sent to the judicial authority for a decision."
Jamil stressed, "The commission will announce the results finally and the names of the winners of the parliament seats after the completion of the admission file by the judiciary," noting that "a change occurred in the winners' seats in the governorates of Nineveh, Erbil and Babil, as well as Kirkuk, Basra and Baghdad."
