Shafaq News/ An informed political source revealed, on Saturday, that major differences had occurred within the "National House", which is the second party emanating from the "Tishreen Movement".
The source told Shafaq News Agency, "Big differences hit the General Secretariat of the National House Party, consisting of 19 members, after four of them suggested joining gatherings established by close associates of the outgoing Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi."
And he indicated that "these gatherings are led by Kazem Al-Sahlani, who works in Al-Kazemi's office, as it organizes conferences, seminars and other activities, and these four members are pushing to get closer to them."
The source pointed out that "these suggestions did not find a deaf ear by the largest group of the party's leaders," suggesting that a meeting of the party's general secretariat will take place in the coming days "to vote on the dismissal of the four members of the national house."
It is noteworthy that the "Extension" movement is a political entity that was formed by the prominent activist and demonstrator in Al-Haboubi Square in Dhi Qar Governorate, Alaa Al-Rikabi. After the movement's deputies voted in favor of Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi for a second term, which provoked a wave of anger and objections between the movement's leadership and masses, and many of them withdrew.
