The leader of the State of Law coalition, Jassem Muhammad, confirmed, on Thursday, that the Kurdistan region has become a hotbed and foothold for the Baathists, the Kurdistan Workers Party, and the American and Israeli intelligence, while noting that the regional government is working against the Iraqi reality and the interest of the country.

Muhammad said in a statement to the Information Agency, "The President of the Region, Masrour Barzani, and political leaders have made the territory of Kurdistan a hotbed for issues contrary to the Iraqi reality and the country's interest by the presence of the disappeared Baathist figures from the former regime, the Kurdistan Workers Party and the hostiles of neighboring countries, in addition to the American and Israeli intelligence."
He stressed, "the accountability of the leaders of the region because of the presence of elements of the Mossad on the territory of Kurdistan instead of repudiating and trying to find flimsy excuses to justify the leaders of the region."
The leader of al-Maliki's coalition explained that "it is necessary for there to be a realistic study to find out where Iraq's interest lies," wondering, "Is it in Iraq's interest to open the way for the region and its persistence on Iraqi laws or the federal government's imposition of its hegemony and power over the application of the constitution in that region?"
