Air News/ Head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Tuesday, that tomorrow's session will not differ from last Saturday's session.
And his media office said, in a statement received by Earth News, that "Al-Maliki received in his office today the new Italian ambassador to Iraq, Maurizio Cricante."
Al-Maliki expressed his "welcome to Ambassador Cricante," wishing him "success in his new mission as his country's ambassador to Baghdad."
He stressed that "Iraq has close relations with Italy in various fields."
The statement added that they "discussed the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region and the world, as well as the ongoing dialogues to form the government and the state of obstruction that accompanies it, as well as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict."
His Excellency stressed the need for “the positions of countries friendly to Iraq to be supportive of it,” noting that “the parliament session on Wednesday will not differ from last Saturday’s session, because preventing an authentic component of the Iraqi people from their entitlements will harm the national balance process, and expose the political process to great risks.” .
The head of the State of Law coalition indicated that "the framework forces and its allies are still committed to dialogue, and call for an end to the political blockage in order to speed up the formation of a strong, harmonious government that meets the aspirations of all Iraqis."

For his part, Ambassador Crikante expressed "his government's support for Iraq."
He praised "the positions of the head of the State of Law coalition and his support for dialogue to end the current political crisis," noting that "Italy will head the NATO mission in Iraq in the month of May."
