Today, Wednesday, the State of Law Coalition, which is part of the coordination framework, confirmed that the framework initiative, sponsored by the leader Hadi Al-Amiri, aims to find a solution to the current political impasse in which everyone participates without excluding any party.
The head of the State of Law bloc, Atwan Al-Atwani, said that "there is no fixed policy and positions can change, and the atmosphere is in line with what the majority of political blocs agree and is applicable, and we believe that presenting the coordination framework for an initiative sponsored by Al-Amiri in the coming days aims to search for resolving the crisis."
He added, "The initiative wants to present a project to run the state, which does not mean forming a consensus government, but rather finding a practical and productive mechanism for running the country that does not exclude anyone."
He stressed that "the framework initiative is not specific to a specific bloc or component, but rather includes all blocs and components of the Iraqi people," noting that "the initiative is in the process of preparation and will be handed over to the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and perhaps it will witness the acceptance of part of it, and these ideas may pave the way to addressing the political blockage." And all the components will have a dialogue regarding the initiative, and we refuse to force any party to go to the opposition."
He pointed out, stressing, that "the tripartite alliance project (Save the Homeland) was not able to provide a two-thirds majority in the presidential election session, and everyone must meet without excluding anyone to write the initiative and find solutions that would enable the representatives to complete the constitutional dues."
Regarding the boycott of the deputies of the coordinating framework of the presidential election session and the extent of its legality, Al-Atwani said that “there is no legal article that obliges the deputies to attend and pass the presidential election session, and every deputy is able to express his opinion according to what is guaranteed by the constitution and cannot be forced to attend.” Ended 29 / p. 87
