    Today, Wednesday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced the recruitment of the first deputy governor of Nineveh Governorate.
    The Commission's Investigation Department stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in looking into issues of integrity, issued a summons order against the first deputy governor of Nineveh, on the grounds of his perpetration of something that violates the duties of his position," indicating that "the accused committed By appointing a person to the provincial council, despite the absence of a financial budget for 2020, as well as withdrawing financial advances, and authorizing others to sign the books of the provincial council, in contravention of the law.
    She added, "The recruitment order, which was issued by the Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, came based on the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code."
    And she continued, "Article (331) provides for the imposition of a penalty of imprisonment and a fine or one of these penalties on every public official or agent who intentionally commits a violation of his job duties, or refrains from performing any of its duties, with the intent of harming the interest of an individual or with the intent of benefiting a person at the expense of another or at the expense of the state.
