, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi called, on Wednesday, to expedite the vote on the food security law, stressing that the government has succeeded in overcoming many crises.
Al-Kazemi said during his participation with a number of families of the martyrs of the security forces at the breakfast table, according to a statement by his office, which Mawazine News received a copy of, "We have been going through difficult and complicated circumstances for years, and we must work together to cross these challenges so that what happened does not happen again, and that we do not give more our children and produce more widows and orphans.”
He added, "I know that there is negligence on the part of the state towards the families of the martyrs and the wounded, and with all this we have taken great steps to support the families of the martyrs and the wounded, and we will continue with this support."
Al-Kazemi stressed by saying, "Today we are in a sensitive stage for building Iraq, and arms should not be raised between one Iraqi and another. The weapon is only raised in the face of Iraq's external enemies and terrorist groups," noting that "this government has done a lot, succeeded in overcoming many crises, and there are crises that we could not From crossing it, we need time and patience, and not to be drawn into political, social or partisan rivalries, and not to be drawn into clashes in order to avoid hotbeds of blood and victims.”
