Earth News/ Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi confirmed today, Thursday, that Iraq has passed a sensitive and important stage after holding the last elections.
Al-Halbousi said, during the thirty-second conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and followed by Earth News, that “Iraq has passed a sensitive and important stage after holding the last elections and the parliament meeting in it and initiating the constitutional and legal procedures to choose the president of the republic, then assigning the new government that It will work to implement its reform program for which the elections were held after popular and national demands to go to early elections.”
