Today, Monday, May 23, 2022, the President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, received the Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union Salah El-Din Muhammad Bahaa El-Din and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country and political developments, as it was stressed the need to achieve national and constitutional benefits and end the political crisis by relying on dialogue and convergence to overcome the outstanding issues between the parties in a spirit of responsibility and patriotism, and to start meeting the living and service requirements of citizens as a top priority by forming a government Capable and able to respond to the current requirements in the country.
