The director of the Dhi Qar Governorate Reconstruction Fund, Razzaq Al-Rikabi, revealed, on Wednesday, that the electricity sector included 21 projects within the 2021 plan for all administrative units and according to the needs, the completion rates reached 90 %.
Al-Rikabi said in a statement that "these projects included equipping rural areas in Dhi Qar governorate with poles, electrical wires and substations, while removing bottlenecks in a number of areas ."
He pointed out that "there are new projects within the regional development plan for the electricity departments north and south of the province, which it is hoped will be included and referred soon for the purpose of supplying the electricity sector with all its needs."
