    The head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Massoud Barzani, and Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi discussed, on Monday, negotiations on the issue of the presidency and the formation of the government.

    Barzani's headquarters said in a statement, "Nass" received a copy of it, (October 10, 2022), "President Barzani received on Monday, a delegation from the State Administration Coalition, and at the meeting, the political situation in Iraq and the negotiating process for holding the next parliament session, choosing the president of the republic and forming the government were discussed." The meeting agreed to study these sensitive issues and reach solutions before holding the relevant session.

    Earlier, Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and a delegation from the State Administration Coalition arrived on Monday in Erbil.  
      
    And the official agency, followed by "Nass", stated that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and a delegation from the State Administration Coalition, including Faleh al-Fayyad and Muhammad Shi`a al-Sudani, arrived in Erbil today, Monday."
