The Iraqi Council of Ministers takes a number of decisions related to agriculture and education

Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Council of Ministers, in a session held today, Tuesday, took a number of decisions related to agriculture and education in the country.
The Minister of Communications, Arkan Al-Shaibani, said in a press conference held after the session, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi presented at the beginning of the session a presentation on the latest political, security and economic developments, stressing the importance of the political blocs to speed up the formation of the government, and resolving all disputes through dialogue.
The session witnessed a discussion of a number of files and topics on the agenda.
In light of this, the Council of Ministers approved the following decisions:
First/ Approval of the recommendation of the Ministerial Council of Economy regarding approval of what was stated in the Ministry of Agriculture’s letter No. 20884, dated August 4, 2022, as follows:
1- The purchase price of a ton of the ear will be (500,000) dinars, only five hundred thousand dinars for this year.
2- The selling price of a ton of grain is 400,000 dinars, only four hundred thousand dinars for this year.
3- Supporting production outputs (purchasing corn cobs) by 50% for this year.
4- Continuing to support inputs for fertilizers for the yellow corn crop, according to the agricultural plan prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture. It is funded by the Food Security Law (2 of 2022).
secondly/
1- Authorizing the Minister of Culture (Hassan Nazim Abdul Al-Issa) with the authority to negotiate and sign the Headquarters Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) based on the provisions of Article (80/sixth) of the Constitution.
2- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall prepare the necessary authorization document on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq for the Minister of Culture, according to the approved contexts, and submit it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers; In order to obtain the signature of the Prime Minister.
Third / Cancellation of the Cabinet Resolution (4 of 2021) regarding assigning Mr. (Muhannad Hamid Muhammad Al-Obaidi) the duties of the Mayor of Al-Rummana District in Anbar Governorate.
Fourth / Approval of adding the two printing presses shown below to the printing presses covered by the exception established in the second paragraph of Cabinet Resolution 251 of 2022 regarding the printing of school books.
1- Dar Al-Warith Press for Printing and Publishing, which belongs to the General Secretariat of the Hussainiya Holy Shrine.
2- Baghdad Central Governorate Press.
Fifth / agree to the following:
1- Approval of granting the International Community School of Civilization in the capital, Baghdad, a license to establish, based on the provisions of Article (4 / Clause First) of the system of private and foreign education (5 of 2013).
2- The Ministry of Education undertakes to complete the preparation of the instructions mentioned in Article (4) of the private and foreign education system (5 of 2013).
Sixth / Approval of the amendment of paragraph (16) of the Cabinet Resolution (340 of 2019), and the replacement of the phrase (for companies and individuals) with the phrase (for companies and individuals).
