Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - Today, Monday, February 13, 2023, a delegation from the Ministry of Natural Resources, headed by Acting Minister Kamal Muhammad, visited the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).
During the visit, the delegation of the Ministry of Natural Resources and SOMO stressed the importance of achieving the best forms of coordination between the two sides. Efforts to reach an agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government leading to the issuance of the Iraqi oil and gas law under the umbrella of the constitution were also discussed.
The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government visited Baghdad on Saturday to proceed with talks and negotiations with the federal government, as it held a series of meetings in order to reach an agreement with the concerned federal parties.
