Political analyst Issam Al-Fayli confirmed today, Sunday, that Al-Mashhadani is marketing himself on the basis of representing the Sunni component in Parliament.
Al-Fayli said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, "The amnesty, personal status, and real estate laws are almost the most controversial in the Iraqi political arena, and there are intersections and disagreements related to voting on them."
He pointed out that "the political forces have not yet held meetings before the parliament sessions," indicating that "each party believes that it has the right to pass its law according to its conviction in this direction."
He pointed out that "voting on such laws will be delayed because some components are divided among themselves in approving these laws, which are additional to the intersections between other components."
He pointed out that "Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani does not represent the Sunni house, despite his attempt to market himself as a sponsor of the component's entitlements in parliament." End/25s
