{Politics: Al-Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Al-Hakim, stressed the importance of the success of the current government in performing its tasks, especially in the file of services, providing job opportunities, and improving the economic reality.
A statement from his office, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that Mr. Al-Hakim received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Bruce Kotrashev, and they discussed "bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow, developments in the political and economic conditions in Iraq and the region, and the results of the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to Iraq."
Al-Hakim stressed "the need to invest in the Iraqi openness to its regional and international surroundings and to enhance investment opportunities and economic files."
He called for "intensifying efforts to bring peace to the world and spreading the language of dialogue and understanding."
