The House of Representatives finishes reading five bills
Today, Tuesday, the House of Representatives completed the reading of five bills.
The media department of the Council stated in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "Parliament has completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the basic system of the Islamic Organization for Food Security," pointing to the end of "the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the 1997 protocol to amend the international agreement to prevent Pollution from Ships 1973 as amended by the 1987 Protocol relating thereto.
The Council also concluded, "Discussing (second reading) the draft law ratifying the agreement on economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation between the government of the Republic of Iraq and the government of Hungary."
The statement added, "The House of Representatives finished discussing (second reading) the two draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Nuclear Safety Agreement and the joint agreement on the safety of spent fuel disposal and the safety of radioactive waste disposal."
Earlier in the day, Parliament held its session chaired by Muhammad al-Halbousi, and 172 deputies attended.
