{Local: Al-Furat News} The head of the Pharmacists Syndicate, Mustafa Al-Hiti, described Gaza drugs to Iraq as stronger than the "ISIS" invasion, while confirming that 10% of the drugs are consumed internally.

Al-Hiti said; For the program {Without Accusation} broadcast by Al-Furat TV channel this evening, Sunday, that: “The National Security Adviser has taken it upon herself to develop a strategy to combat drugs with the security agencies and agencies led by the Ministry of Health, and I pray that there will be a national campaign in which the media will participate because we have reached a very dangerous stage.” .
He pointed out, "The three stages of drug addiction, which are (the dealer, the promoter, and the addict), and the two major parts of it, require an internal and external intelligence effort, which, through the Anti-Narcotics Agency and the treatment of addicts, is an important priority that rests with the Ministry of Health."
Al-Hiti added, "Amending the drug control law is currently being considered and transferring it from the responsibility of the Ministry of Health to the military authorities," noting that "the drug invasion of the country has become stronger than the ISIS invasion, and 10% of the drugs that enter the country are consumed internally."
He noted "the registration of children in the primary stage, as well as women and married women who use drugs, as the spread of drugs is more than we can imagine in the country, and we warn schools, universities and hussainiyas of this danger."
And Al-Hiti added, "There are drugs for psychotropic and psychological substances that contain drugs that are sold in pharmacies as painkillers after the operation, and we noticed that there is a large withdrawal of these drugs, and it recorded the disbursement of 11,000 ampoules of {Tramal} within one month in one of Salah al-Din hospitals, which did not create any suspicion."
He called for "prevention of drugs as an important stage in combating drugs and setting a very deterrent penalty for anyone who traffics in these substances," adding, "Addiction clinics do not exceed the finger of one hand in the country, but some empty camps will be converted into rehabilitation centers for thousands of addicts."
Al-Hiti confirmed, "Insurgents and officers are vulnerable to targeting because of their discovery of drug networks. As for our objection to the large number of graduates, it is related to quality, not number."
And he went on to say, "10,000 pharmacy students registered this year as redundant, and there are 5 public universities whose deans do not hold a doctorate in pharmacy," warning that "in 2026 there will be 62,000 redundant students, and the redundant number will reach 92,000 students in 2030, and accordingly The structure of private colleges should be parallel to the government.
With regard to drug prices, Al-Hiti explained, "The discrepancy in drug prices in pharmacies is caused by the rise in the dollar, and the Ministry of Health is legally responsible for drug pricing. According to the Ministry of Health's reports, 50% of drugs enter smuggled from all the country's outlets and regions, so you find there is a discrepancy in prices."
He pointed out that "17 fake pharmacies were seized in Baghdad within two months, and that some dressers sell medicines informally, and some smuggled medicines cause some deaths, including ineffective ones and result in economic, health and social problems. As for beauty centers, they do not have the right to prescribe medicines and they are responsible." Ministry of Health".
