    The Ministerial Council for the Economy confirmed the payment of installments for investment vertical housing complexes by citizens in Iraqi dinars.
    A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, chaired today, Monday, the eighth meeting of the Council, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, the Ministers of Trade, Agriculture, Industry, Labor and Social Affairs, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, and the Governor of the Central Bank. Al-Iraqi, Chairman of the National Investment Commission, and Adviser to the Prime Minister for Legal Affairs.
    The council hosted, according to the statement, "Ibrahim al-Baghdadi, head of the Iraqi Economic Council, to discuss the issue of paying installments for investment vertical housing complexes by citizens in Iraqi dinars."
    The Ministerial Council stressed "the necessity of adhering to this decision, provided that the Central Bank of Iraq compensates investors in dollars and the official rate."
    The council agreed on "the need for continuous communication between investors in this sector and the Central Bank for the purpose of paying investors' needs of the dollar currency."
    The Ministerial Council of Economy also hosted Adel Akab, President of the Federation of Iraqi Industries, and completed discussions on the development of the Iraqi industrial private sector. It took many decisions that contribute to the advancement of this important sector, including the adoption of the market value for valuation of real estate instead of the value of estimation carried out by the real estate registration and tax departments. value even when sold.
