The House of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention for Search and Rescue of 1979.
The Council stated in a statement that "the House of Representatives completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Convention for Search and Rescue of 1979."
It is noteworthy that the Parliament held today its regular session No. 12 for the fifth electoral session of the second legislative year of the first legislative term, headed by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen Al-Mandalawi.
The session started with the presence of 179 deputies.
