Al-Khazali said during the Eid prayer sermon, followed by "NAS" (April 22, 2023), that "the enemies focused on spreading vice, corruption and deviation."

He added, "There are plots and projects being hatched to destabilize the country, including finding ISIS terrorist gangs in Iraq," noting that "the enemies tried a year ago to find internal fighting among Iraqis."

Al-Khazali pointed out that "the security we are experiencing today has not happened in the country for years," pointing out that "the enemies are trying to target the cultural identity of this country."

He continued, "A media machine is trying to attribute extremism and terrorism to Islam and Muslims," noting that "we must all agree on the cultural identity of this people to confront the attacks of the enemies."

Al-Khazali stressed that "it is necessary to work on presenting differences and bringing them down from the level of belief to the level of jurisprudence."
