Earth News/ A member of the Sadiqoun Parliamentary Bloc, Rafik al-Salihi, sent today, Monday, a request to the government about the movements of the US ambassador to Iraq.
Al-Salihi told Earth News Agency, "It is not surprising that the US administration, since 2003 and until now, after the occupation of Iraq, cannot understand that Iraq is a state and not a subsidiary or part of the United States of America."
He added, "Every American ambassador who comes to carry out his work in Iraq is his first duty not to respect the diplomatic contexts, but to intervene and move within all components of the Iraqi people, whether political or social, in order to create a state of division and strife among the Iraqi people, and with this strife, the American presence will remain for the longest period in the land of Iraq."
He continued, “Therefore, it is not surprising that the role played by the American ambassador in Iraq and her interference between the political or social parties is unacceptable, and the government is supposed to take firm action towards her interventions and limit her actions.
