A statement by the parliament's media department stated, "The House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law on the accession of the Republic of Iraq to the Marrakesh Treaty to facilitate access to published works for the benefit of blind people, visually impaired people, or people with other disabilities in reading publications."
Today, the House of Representatives held its session under the chairmanship of Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi.
