Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf: Hussein Al-Kaabi
The branch of the General Company for Foodstuff Trade in Najaf Al-Ashraf reported that there is a sufficient and reassuring stock of foodstuffs for citizens and those covered by social care, while the eighth food basket was distributed among citizens.
The branch manager, Haider Shabaa, told Al-Sabah that the company distributed the eighth food basket among citizens, and is now in the process of preparing the ninth basket, confirming the availability of all the required food supplies in the stores.
As for the food baskets for social care, Shabaa stated that his company is currently distributing the ninth food basket, with the rate of preparation reaching fifty percent and work is continuing to complete it, indicating at the same time that the available stock of food items designated for the citizen and care basket is reassuring and sufficient for several months. Indicating that it is imported from reliable origins.
He explained that the use of the electronic system to distribute the food basket reduced the number of beneficiaries, deaths and travellers, pointing out that the regular distribution of it and the quality of the materials, in addition to the follow-up of agents to deliver the materials in the correct manner to the citizen without tampering, led to the stability of the prices of main foodstuffs in the markets.
