    [rtl]The Ministry of Commerce announced today, Thursday, that its strategic store of wheat meets the country's need for a full year, and for foodstuffs, for six months, while four central market buildings in Baghdad will be opened in the coming days after their rehabilitation, bringing the number of main marketing outlets in the capital to seven.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The ministry’s official spokesman, Muhammad Hanoun, said, “The ministry has a strategic reserve of wheat sufficient for the country for a whole year, and food supplies for six months, which contributed to the stability of the food basket situation,” noting that his ministry will add four materials to the food basket for the occasion of the month of Ramadan, which are yellow flour, starch, vermicelli, and milk. , bringing the total number of subjects to ten,” according to the official newspaper,[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He stated that "his ministry has launched the sale of all food items in marketing outlets at subsidized prices, as it sells a kilo of lamb for nine thousand dinars, chicken products for five thousand dinars, table eggs for the same price of five thousand dinars, a kilo of zero-grain flour for 750 dinars, and a kilo of sugar and a bottle of oil and milk for 1000 dinars, which contributes to the stability of their prices in the markets and the merchants not exploiting citizens.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Hanoun stated, “His ministry sells table eggs, chicken, and meat at competitive prices to citizens, through 15 refrigerators and mobile buses in Baghdad areas, while sending similar small cars to poor neighborhoods,” announcing that the coming days will witness the opening of four central markets in Baghdad after their rehabilitation, bringing the number of marketing outlets to, Seven, and it is hoped to construct buildings similar to malls to sell food and construction materials in all governorates, in cooperation with the private sector.”[/rtl]
