     Baghdad: Al-Sabah

Yesterday, Sunday, the Border Ports Authority revealed the completion of connecting all its ports to the optical cable network.
A statement by the Authority stated, “The network connection team, headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Ports Authority and under the supervision of the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Ports Affairs, was able to complete connecting the Kirkuk International Airport port to the optical cable network, which is the last port that was connected to the network.”
He added, "Connecting the border ports to the optical cable network will provide better performance and more technical advantages in terms of speed in transferring data over a very long distance via optical waves in a secure, impenetrable manner, in addition to the relatively low cost compared to wired cables."
     "traditional."

This is where the bulk of dollars are smuggled. Solving this issue prevents the smuggling and also sets up an automated system that will also have to give access to the forex via software to convert any currency in real time. Remember the tariff system will provide revenue to rival oil revenue. So, this largely conquers the dollar smuggling issue and is certainly part of the revalue plan. Seeing the Kurds stop the dollars at border crossings takes on more importance now in light of this report. The electronic tariff system is the last phase by the CBI to control dollar smuggling. Sometimes the smallest articles give the greatest insight. Study this out and you'll see it.
