Today, Thursday, a member of the State of Law coalition, Saad Al-Muttalabi, denied the validity of the reports that the coordination framework had divided the governors in advance before the elections, confirming in a televised interview that the leader of the coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, will conclude a new agreement after the elections, depending on the electoral weights and who has the majority, and he ruled out the occurrence of violence. On polling day,

He said that Al-Sadr's recent tweet contributed to calming the street. He added that some governors who belong to political parties will lose their positions and those political blocs will lose their influence in those governorates.

Al-Muttalabi continued: “The Sunni component had a share in the Baghdad Provincial Council between 10-15 seats, but in the event that calls for a boycott continue and the component is encouraged... The Sunnis are willing to participate. Their seats will certainly reach more than 20 seats, at the expense of the largest social component, and thus the Shiites will lose a number of their seats. This scenario is possible. As for the issue that the framework divided the governorates before the elections, this is absolutely false talk.

Al-Maliki confirmed that this thing does not exist. The agreement reached is as follows: After the elections, the electoral weights are calculated and the framework concludes a new agreement with the winners other than the current agreement, to find a new equation for managing each governorate. Therefore, Al-Maliki was clear in leading the rule of law and said that we will meet after the elections, calculate the weights, see who has the majority, and begin with the executive positions. The emerging parties were unable to create effective field leaders in society, even though the opportunity was available to them. The presence of some people close to the parties in the Election Commission will not affect the results. This commission is not a framework commission, but rather a trend commission. The Sadrist movement was the one who brought it. Experiences have shown that the parliamentary system in Iraq is an unsuccessful system. Iraq needs an alternative system and the Iraqi constitution needs to be reconsidered.
