    Today, Saturday (January 13, 2024), the political bloc, Bayraq Al-Khair, reviewed several direct impacts of developments in Yemen on the Iraqi reality, whether economic or security.
    The Secretary-General of Bayraq Al-Khair, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, said in an interview with “Baghdad Today”, that “just as we expected the repercussions of the catastrophic events in Gaza would not remain within its walls, especially with the rise in the toll of martyrs and wounded to nearly 100,000, 75% of whom were children, so we also expect that the developments in Yemen will "You won't stay long without expanding."
    He added, "The bombing of Yemen is a strategic mistake for America and its allies, and it comes within a series of endless mistakes starting from 2003 until now. It will push Washington to delve deeper into the sands of the Middle East, deplete its financial capabilities, and push into greater chaos that may end in a bloody international conflict."
    He pointed out that "the bombing of Yemen carries within it influential dimensions on the Iraqi scene, which is fueling the rates of targeting of American forces, and the latter may respond with strikes, which means an open conflict that may not remain within a specific scope, and here the danger is added to it with catastrophic economic dimensions if the movement of maritime transport through the Red Sea, which is halted." "It represents a major corridor for oil shipments towards Europe."
    He continued, "The Arab peoples are the most affected by the events in the Middle East, and America is moving without a compass for calm. It is committing one mistake after another, which leads to a continuous escalation without any restrictions, and the conflict may get out of control at any moment."
