    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, said today, Sunday (February 4, 2024), “We lost a number of our children because of the American law of the jungle,” while noting that “the government has the right to move at all levels to stop and condemn the attacks.”
Al-Maliki added in a tweet on the “X” platform, which “Baghdad Today” followed, saying: “The American assault on Iraq’s sovereignty, and the killing of its people in cold blood, has been repeated in an unprecedented manner, and without deterrence from the international community.”
He continued, "We denounce the targeting and assassination of a number of our Iraqi forces in their fixed headquarters," stressing that "the Iraqi government has the right to move at all levels in order to stop and condemn these attacks, because this act establishes the law of the jungle approach and brings more killing and sabotage that cannot be avoided." Justified by international laws, the law of human rights, and the values of the falsely claimed civilization?!”
He pointed out that "Iraqis do not accept injustice and cannot be patient with belittling the lives of their children. There must be a responsible national stance from everyone that protects the sovereignty of the country and the lives of the people."
