Today, Monday, the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Ali Riza Konay.
The Presidency's Media Department stated in a statement received by Mawazine News: "The President of the Republic stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint work with regard to the security, economic and commercial fields, and the necessity of coordination in the water file in a way that ensures a fair share for Iraq that meets its needs."
The Turkish ambassador affirmed "his country's support for the security and stability of Iraq, and the desire to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in areas of common interest in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two countries and peoples."
The Presidency's Media Department stated in a statement received by Mawazine News: "The President of the Republic stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint work with regard to the security, economic and commercial fields, and the necessity of coordination in the water file in a way that ensures a fair share for Iraq that meets its needs."
The Turkish ambassador affirmed "his country's support for the security and stability of Iraq, and the desire to strengthen and develop bilateral relations in areas of common interest in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two countries and peoples."
