Today, Sunday (February 25, 2024), Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadiq.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement, received by “Baghdad Today”, that “Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, and during the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop them in all fields, in a way that achieves mutual benefit.” For the two friendly countries."
The Prime Minister stressed, according to the statement, that "the government is open to developing relations with all countries of the region, and is working on major projects that achieve comprehensive integration between these countries, which have many ties and commonalities and ambitious development plans, in a way that consolidates regional and international stability."
