    The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kazem, announced on Monday that (50) residential areas and main streets will soon be referred for cladding and development.
    The Municipality of Baghdad said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “The Mayor of Baghdad, Ammar Musa Kadhim, conducted a field tour within the Adhamiya Municipality sector, accompanied by the general directors of the Adhamiya Municipality and the Projects Department, to follow up on the municipal services provided to citizens and see the work of developing and covering roads within the cladding campaign.” She added ,

    "The tour included a visit to the Adhamiya Municipality to inspect municipal services and follow up on the development and cladding of the main streets by the Projects Department within the cladding campaign launched by the Municipality of Baghdad and which is still ongoing."

    Kazem confirmed that "the Municipality of Baghdad is about to transfer (50) residential areas and a number Of the main streets within the borders of the capital to be re-cladded within this year’s plan, in addition to furnishing and erecting lighting poles,” noting that “this came within the framework of the Baghdad is More Beautiful campaign launched by the Prime Minister to improve the reality of services in the capital, Baghdad.”

    The Secretary was briefed on the cladding and development work. Adhamiya Corniche Street by the Projects Department as part of the cladding campaign launched by the Baghdad Municipality, the first phase of which included 200,000 square meters within the sector of each municipal department.

    He stated that “the Projects Department, in cooperation with the Municipal Department, previously completed during this year and last year the work of developing streets (Morocco and Palestine) And the Corniche, the Great Imam, Bayram Al-Tunisi, the officers, Omar bin Abdul Aziz, Abu Talib, Al-Mashtal, Siham Metwally, and Al-Shabab), pointing out that “the development work of shops 312, 314, and 316 has been completed, in addition to covering a number of alleys.”
