    Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirms that the new residential city of Al-Ghazlani in Nineveh will be ideal, and soon we will announce 11 new cities in Iraq.

    The Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, launched the executive works for the new Al-Ghazlani residential city project, in Nineveh Governorate, which he arrived on Monday morning.
    During the work launch ceremony, His Excellency confirmed that the new residential city includes 28,000 residential units on an area of ​​4,800 dunams, and it is the second city within the first phase that includes five cities, indicating that the second phase will include 11 residential cities in Baghdad and the provinces.
    His Excellency praised the New Cities Authority and its efforts over the past period, indicating that there is a package of decisions, administrative procedures and approvals to resolve the conflict in laws and prepare the lands, which have been implemented. In order to reach the signing of the contract and grant the investment license to the Chinese company and its partners implementing the project.
    Mr. Al-Sudani explained that the new city of Al-Ghazlani would be ideal; Due to the nature of the terrain that will give it a beautiful reality, and with specifications that the people of Nineveh deserve, he also congratulated the local government for carrying out its tasks, stressing that Nineveh represents an opportunity for all the people of Iraq in economic advancement, which is a prelude to the stability of Iraq.
    The following are the highlights of what the Prime Minister spoke during the launch ceremony:
    ? 10 years ago, killing, destruction, and sabotage were the scene that dominated this dear governorate following the control of ISIS terrorist gangs.
    ? ISIS's deviant ideology has nothing to do with the people of Nineveh and its honorable people of all stripes.
    ?     The Iraqi people gathered, after the blessed fatwa of the rational authority, and our armed forces of all types, and the support of the international community, for the battle to liberate Nineveh.
    ? Today, Nineveh is setting its feet on the path of projects, construction and reconstruction, and this is a complete victory.
    ?     One of the most important positions required of us to repay the heroic martyrs and wounded and their families is to work, serve the citizen, and present what has been achieved in development and reconstruction.
    ?     The new cities express the government's vision regarding one of the most important problems of Iraqi society, which is the housing crisis.
    ? The solution is to create integrated cities that include various residential units, integrated medical and educational services, schools, universities, and commercial centers.
    ? All economic activities will be available in the new cities according to the latest specifications and modern methods of construction.
    ? Building residential cities will encourage the industrial sector to provide the construction materials these cities need, in various specializations and activities.
    ? I call on the private sector in Nineveh to invest in the opportunity and bring in factories for construction materials, especially since the governorate is characterized by the abundance of natural resources of primary building materials.
    ? The existing factories for construction materials do not cover the market need, nor the expansion that the new cities will provide.
    ? Instead of importing, we are pushing towards providing facilities to establish factories that meet the needs of cities, and this means more job opportunities.
    ? This project will be closely monitored throughout all its stages.
    ? We emphasize adherence to standards and specifications, and here the importance of follow-up by sectoral authorities emerges.
    ? The company underwent an evaluation before obtaining approval, and has an integrated financial and administrative plan to implement the project.
