    [rtl]The Ministry of Electricity confirmed, on Saturday, that the experience of smart energy transformation witnessed in areas in the capital, Baghdad, has achieved “great success” so far, while indicating that the electronic collection project is technically prepared and in place now and will be fully completed during the year 2024.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The head of the ministerial committee to supervise the electronic payment and smart transformation project in the ministry, Ahmed Murtada, said, “The ministry is working to implement the government direction and Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani’s directive to achieve a complete smart transformation of the electrical system through the adoption of smart electronic standards.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Murtada added in a statement to the official agency, followed by Al-Ghad Press, that “certain areas were elected in Baghdad and in the governorates in order to make a smart transformation in the field of electrical energy distribution, and during the coming weeks the results of this experiment will become clear.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He continued, "The experience of smart energy transformation in Baghdad has achieved great success so far, and the experiment will be circulated within a month and a half to two months in all regions of Baghdad, after which it will be moved to one or two governorates until reaching all governorates."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Regarding electronic collection, Murtada said, “The electronic collection project is technically prepared and in effect now and will be fully completed during the year 2024.”[/rtl]
