The US Ambassador to Baghdad, Alina Romansky, discussed on Sunday, with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil.[/size]
[size=45]Romanski said in a tweet posted on the X website that she discussed with Barzani “how a constructive relationship between Baghdad and Erbil can enhance security, stability, and the economy for all.”[/size]
[size=45]She stated that “free, fair and transparent elections enhance the flexibility and representation of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region within federal Iraq.”[/size]
[size=45]In another tweet, Romanski indicated that she stressed with the head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Bafel Talabani, the importance of holding free, fair and transparent elections in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that it is necessary for the relationship between Baghdad and Erbil to be fruitful for all the Iraqi people, including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.[/size]
