    Economy News - Baghdad:
    The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed that 600,000 new families are covered by social wages .
    "The ministry decided to include 600,000 new families with social welfare and according to the budget allocations for 2020," said Najem Al-Aqabi, director of media at the ministry, pointing out that "the governorates of Dhi Qar, Diwaniyah and Muthanna will be more in the number of families benefiting from the new coverage."
     Al-Oqabi added that “the criteria for including these families were based on the poverty line and population density according to the form designated for this purpose, as well as the report of the social researchers who conducted field visits to these families and in all governorates,” noting that “the data collected showed that the governorates of Dhi Qar, Diwaniyah and Muthanna are The poorest compared to other provinces .
    He emphasized, “The Ministry of Labor sends all these data and details to the Ministry of Planning, which in turn determines and according to the available data to determine the families that deserve to be included in social welfare or not.” He pointed out that “the Ministry of Labor launched a meal from the caregivers from the applicants since 2016 through Online form .
