    The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, met this Sunday evening, in Dohuk, with the Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, David Berger.[/size]
    [size=45]During the meeting, according to a statement, discussions took place regarding America’s relations with Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, the situation in Iraq in general, the elections and the internal situation of the Kurdistan Region, and relations between Erbil and Baghdad.[/size]
    [size=45]The two sides stressed the importance of holding parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region and the consensus and participation of all political parties and components in the elections, and they agreed on the necessity of protecting security and stability in Iraq.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement indicated that the implementation of the constitution and the federal system in Iraq, and the situation in the region in general, in addition to a number of issues of common interest to both sides, formed another focus of the meeting.[/size]
    [size=45]The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, attended the graduation ceremony of the sixth batch of students at the American University in Dohuk Governorate, this Sunday evening.[/size]
