The media office of the Governor of Salah al-Din stated in a statement received by Al-Sumaria News that it was in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the massacre.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]In memory of the martyrs, and as an expression of national solidarity and rejection of terrorism, the governor directed that Wednesday, 6/12/2024, be an official holiday in the governorate, with the exception of service, security, health, and education departments.
