[size=45]Iraq ranked third among the countries in which Türkiye has implemented contracting projects since 1972.[/size]
[size=45]The Turkish Anadolu Agency reported in a statistic that “the volume of projects undertaken by Turkish contractors outside the country during the first half of this year amounted to 7.6 billion dollars.”[/size]
[size=45]The figures reported by the agency were based on data from the Turkish Ministry of Trade, indicating that the contracting sector acquired 82 projects outside the country during the first 6 months of 2024.[/size]
[size=45]She explained that "the volume of acquisitions during the first half of this year reached $7.6 billion."[/size]
[size=45]She pointed out that "from 1972 until last June, the Turkish contracting sector has acquired 12,207 projects worth $511 billion in 137 countries."[/size]
[size=45]Russia accounted for the lion's share of the value of projects implemented during the mentioned period, amounting to $102.3 billion, followed by Turkmenistan with $53.4 billion, then Iraq with $34.7 billion, and Libya with $30.9 billion.[/size]
[size=45]She added, "The volume of projects undertaken by the Turkish contracting sector in Saudi Arabia during the same period amounted to $28.2 billion, in Algeria $21.3 billion, in Qatar $20.3 billion, and in the Emirates $13.2 billion."[/size]
