The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, visited, today, Tuesday, June 11, one of the potato cultivation and production fields in the Bardarash district of Dohuk Governorate, as part of his keenness to inspect the conditions of the agricultural sector and learn about the needs of farmers throughout the region.[/size]
[size=45]During a session with farmers, the Prime Minister expressed his happiness with the improvement in local potato production, praising the farmers’ efforts to enhance food security. He also stressed the regional government’s commitment to supporting them by all available means, and indicated that the regional government will continue to work to develop this vital sector.[/size]
[size=45]For their part, the farmers expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Prime Minister for his interest in supporting them, and presented him with a set of suggestions and observations in order to improve the agricultural sector and overcome all obstacles.[/size]
