    Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the 112th batch of officers of the First Military College in the capital, Baghdad.
    In a speech during the ceremony, al-Sudani congratulated the graduates on completing their course, stressing that the homeland is a trust in their necks, and that they are worthy of defending its security and sovereignty, stressing the need to respect human rights and that work should be within the framework of the law.
    The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces stressed that the government has included the file of developing the security forces within its program, pointing to the approval of (the Security Sector Reform Strategy 2024-2032), which aims to achieve comprehensive reforms to the security system, based on scientific foundations to keep pace with the rapid developments in the world. He also referred to the file of arming the security forces with the latest weapons, and many directives were issued through the Supreme Armament Committee.
    Al-Sudani continued that thanks to the capabilities and courage of the security forces, the government is negotiating strongly today with the countries of the international coalition to end its military presence and transform its mission into bilateral relations, stressing that no threat to the security of Iraq and Iraqis will be allowed; Because sustainable stability means more development and construction, and attracting global companies, after Iraq became a safe environment for capital and investors./End 25
