Two simulations of the Kurdistan elections

The Independent High Electoral Commission is conducting two simulations of the electoral process in (181) stations.
The Director of the Operations and Information Technology Department at the Commission, Walid Khaled Abbas, told Al-Sabah: The Commission will conduct two simulation operations for testing on the 12th and 25th of this month in 181 polling stations, indicating that they are distributed as follows: (53) stations for general voting and (3) stations for private voting in Erbil, (41) for the general and two stations for private voting in Dohuk, (74) for the general and two stations for private voting in Sulaymaniyah, (5) for the general and one station for private voting in Halabja.
He explained that the goal is to test the effectiveness of the results acceleration and verification devices in preparation for the Kurdistan Regional Parliament elections, which are scheduled to be held on October 10.
Abbas added that the Commission's staff will conduct a test of the transmission medium on September 10 to verify the transfer of results from the polling stations to the servers, describing the transmission medium as "very secure" and absolutely inaccessible.
